Update: 2/10/2010 - After several more issues and oddball excuses from Cisco tech support, I returned the Linksys WRT160N and ordered a Netgear WNDR3700 router to replace it. The Netgear has a solid feel, robust web interface and just works.
This new Linksys unit performed better, with higher signal strength and faster through put than the previous router. The only downside was the failure of the Linksys setup software. My brother tried the setup software with three laptops. Two of the laptops were running XP and one Vista. The Linksys software failed to connect to the router.
